Beautiful dark ruby red colour. A sultry nose of ripe fruit and a southern spice jump out of the glass. Black cherries, blackberries, black plum with cinnamon, clove and juniper hints. Nice, lush mouth-feel, rich, smooth and round. Long, full-bodied finish that leaves you with a wonderful summer feel.

Luis Duarte is one of the most awarded winemakers in Portugal. Featured with the title of Winemaker of the Year in 1997, 2007 and 2014, by WINE - Wine Magazine, one of the most prestigious specialized publications of Portugal. In 2007 he repeated the feat, winning this title again. In 2010, he was nominated for the "Best Winemaker in the World" Wine Awards 2010, a competition held by the German magazine Der Feinschmecker and was among the six finalists. Was the winner of the contest 3 Trophys' International Wine Challenge 2005 'with wine' Herdade da Malhadinha Tinto 2003 'and was also the winner of the Golden Talha in the contest' The Best Alentejo Wines Production.
