Coral Duero Los Lastros Tinta de Toro

Beautiful dark red colour. Intense nose with delicate floral notes and lots of red fruit that manifests itself first. Then follow hints of vanilla, liquorice and coffee. The taste is nice and full and at the same time refined. The blend of French and American oak is nicely integrated, letting the luscious fruit dominate. The finish is medium to long.

The vineyard is from 1944 with very old vines which are picked by hand. 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo). Fermentation takes place under low temperatures in stainless steel with a long maceration and pipeage twice a day. The wine then matures for 8 months in French and American oak.
