Rapariga Da Quinta Tinto Reserva
Beautiful intense ruby colour. Deep and complex aromas of ripe fruit well integrated with the oak. Elegant and powerful on the palate, with a long and seductive finish that will enable the wine to evolve well in the bottle. The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard and taken to the winery, where a second triage takes place on a sorting table. The grapes are gently crushed and a pre-fermentation maceration occurs at 12ºC. What sets this wine apart is the length of pre-fermentation maceration and the rigorous extraction early in fermentation. The juice is then inoculated with selected yeasts and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is matured in old and new 300-litre French oak barrels for 12 months.
